呆寶漫遊記（二）

喔！一堆像山一樣高的功課向他壓下來了！他趕忙向旁邊一閃，卻看到了一個長長的岩洞。

不不不！進了岩洞，就會變成蛇，太可怕了！

Oh no! A pile of homework as high as a mountain was toppling on him! He quickly rushed to one side and saw a long tunneling cave.

No, no, no! If he entered the cave, he would become a snake! That is terrible!

一團黑雲從天邊刷過來了，啊，原來都是數目字和心算口訣！轟隆一聲，所有的數目字和口訣像雨一般落下來，打在身上好痛！他看到一間樓房，心裡想：「這個地方應該安全了吧？」

噢！不能進去！他想起了，躲進屋子，會變成貝殼的。

A pile of dark cloud swooped down from the sky; it was made up of numbers and arithmetic formulas! With a rumbling sound, down came all the numbers and formulas falling on him like rain, it really hurt! He saw a building and wondered, “I suppose this place is safe?”

Oh! Must not enter! He remembered, if he entered the building, he would become a shell.

他已經又累又渴了，真的好想坐下來休息啊。

一艘輪船出現，上面有泳池、有很多人在吃喝玩樂，還可看到很多糖果零食呢！

可是，還是不行啊，躲進船，會變成魚的。

He was tired and thirsty, how he wished he could sit down and take a good rest.

A ship appeared then, there was a swimming pool in it, lots of people eating and drinking, even lots of sweets and tidbits!

But, no, if he hid on the ship, he would become a fish. 

一轉身，他看到了王永權同學。

王同學向他招招手，說：「呆寶，來，我帶你去捉蝌蚪！」

他很開心，正想走過去，卻想起來：聽說王同學上個星期去玩水時淹死了，他怎麼在這裡？

不行！決不能跟他走！呆寶一溜煙的逃開。

He turned around and saw Wang Yong Quan.

Wang waved at him and said, “Come Daibao, let’s go and catch tadpoles.”

He was happy, but as he was walking towards Wang, he suddenly remembered he was told that Wang drowned last week while playing in water, how could he possibly be here?

No! Must not follow him! Daibao hurriedly ran away.

天色已經黑了。呆寶好想念媽媽。

「嗚～嗚～嗚～」他哭起來。他想回家。

他聽到了媽媽的聲音，是媽媽在唸『上師心咒』──「嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽……」

他想到了師尊，也跟著唸起來：「嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽……」

 

The sky was getting dark; Daibao missed his mother very much.

“Sob, sob…” He started crying. He wanted to go home.

He heard mother’s voice; mother was chanting the Guru Mantra --- “OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM…”

He thought of Grand Master, and started to chant together with his mother, “OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM…”

「嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽、嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽……」呆寶唸著、唸著，心裡好像不那麼害怕了。

一道虹光照下來，師尊忽然出現了！

「師尊！師尊！」他大哭著撲向師尊。

「呆寶，你怎麼跑出來玩了？讓媽媽著急了。」

「師尊救我！嗡。咕嚕。蓮生。悉地。吽！我要回家！」

「你很好啊！我以前教的，你都記得。」

師尊笑了，呆寶也破涕為笑，他不再害怕了。

 

“OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM, OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM…” As Daibao was chanting and chanting, he felt much better.

A rainbow light shone on him, suddenly Grand Master appeared!

“Grand Master! Grand Master!” Daibao cried and ran into Grand Master’s arms.

“Daibao, how come you are out to play? Your mother is so worried.”

“Please help me, Grand Master! OM GURU LIAN-SHENG SIDDHI HUM! I want to go home!”

“You are a good boy, you remembered all that I’ve taught you.”

Grand Master smiled.  Daibao smiled too, he was not afraid any more.

「你現在不怕了吧？讓我再考考你，好嗎？」

「好啊！有師尊在，我不怕了！」

「好！你看一看前面。」

只見前面出現了六團圓光，一道是暗淡的白光、一道是暗淡的黃光、一道是暗淡的綠光、一道是暗淡的煙霧光、一道是暗淡的紅光、一道是暗淡的藍光。

“I suppose you are not scared anymore? Let me test you, ok?”

“OK! With Grand Master here, I’m not scared any more!”

“Great, look in front of you.”

Daibao saw six round lights.  There was a dull white light, dull yellow light, dull green light, dull smoke-colored light, dull red light and dull blue light.

「呆寶，你能告訴我那些是什麼光？可以通向那裡？」

「我知道！白光是天道的光，進去了就會變成神仙。黃光是人道的光，進入了就會轉世成人了。綠光是阿修羅道，阿修羅有法力，不過老是愛打架。煙霧光，是地獄道，做了壞事就會到那裡去受罰...師尊，我會受處罰嗎？」

師尊搖搖頭微笑：「你回去後要乖，繼續唸咒，要孝順父母、常做善事、不要做壞事，以後好好學法修法，一心向佛，明白嗎？」

「謝謝師尊！還有，紅光是餓鬼道的光，藍光是畜生道的光。

“Daibao, can you tell me what lights these are? And where do they lead to?”

“I know! The dull white light is the light of the deva or heavenly realm, once entered, one would become an angle; the dull yellow light is the light of the human realm, once entered, one would be born as a human; the dull green light is the light of the asura realm, asuras have great power, but they love to fight; the dull smoke-colored light is the light of the hell realm, if one did some bad deeds, one would be punished there… Grand Master, will I be punished?”

Grand Master shook his head and smiled, “When you return, you must behave yourself, keep on chanting, be a filial child, always do good deeds, don’t be mischievous, learn and practice Buddhism properly, and always have Buddha in your heart, understand?”

“Thank you Grand Master! Also, the dull red light is the light of the hungry ghost realm, the dull blue light is the light of the animal realm.”
