二○一六年一月二十三日，《真佛宗》美國〈圓覺堂〉蓮到法師應市長路易絲‧里韋拉的邀請，在「拉堤和平祭」的園遊會開幕儀式中致詞。
On January 23, 2016, TBS CE Temple, Reverend Lian Dao was invited by TaTuHa Mayor Louise Rivera to give an inspiration speech during the opening ceremony of Latte Peace Festival.
大家好！
首先感激「塔慕寧市長辦公室」給我們機會捐贈這表演臺讓民眾使用，建立尊勝塔護佑關島這片土地。這些都是依照我們根本傳承上師的教導而去實踐的。
Hafa Adai! First, we appreciate TaTuHa Mayor's Office gave us the opportunity to donate this stage for public use and establish the stupa for blessing the land of Guam following our Grand Master's teaching.
在佛教的禪宗，禪師常會問到下列的問題：我是誰？你是誰？他們是誰? 我們的答案可能和下述很接近：我是我，你是你，他們是他們。因為你、我、他是分離的個體，所以我們會習慣性去批判別人的善惡和對錯。我們並不了解這些皆是不真實的，而且是虛幻的，因而，它引導我們產生誤判的結果。
In Zen Buddhism, a master often asks the following question:Who am I? Who are you? Who are they? Our answer might be similar like this:I am I, you are you, they are they. You and I are separate individuals, therefore we are in the habit of criticizing others' good and evil, right and wrong. We do not know that these are all untrue and illusive, therefore it leads into the result of our misjudgment.
事實上，我們是一個生命共同體，大家相互連結成一整體，謂之萬物一體。例如，我的作用如同心，你的作用如同肺，他們作用如同肝、胃、腎……等等，都是同一體；雖然每一器官，有其不同的功能，但所有的器官都是同等重要。因萬物一體，我們自然地會用心去關懷異常功能的器官，主動積極地去幫助他們的功能恢復正常。如此整體的生命將更加和諧，而且世界才會走向真正的和平。
In fact, we are a community of life joined together forming the unity. For example, my role as the heart, your role as the lung, their role as the liver, stomach, kidney, ......et cetera, all in one body. Although each organ serves a different function, all organs are equally important. Under the unity, we naturally show loving care for organs of malfunctions, and help them return to normal functions. Overall life would be more harmonious. And the world will move towards peace.
每星期六早上七點四十五分，當我們繞塔時，我們持誦『尊勝佛母心咒』。結束後並做迴向：我們一心祈請佛頂尊勝佛母，讓關島遠離地、水、火、風的災難，讓關島永遠是一片安和樂利，適合大家居住的地方。
Every Saturday morning 7:45, we chant the heart mantra of Usnisha Vijaya while circulating around the stupa. We make dedication. We sincerely pray to Namo Usnisha Vijaya:May Guam be away from disasters of earthquake, tsunami ,fire, and typhoon and May Guam be the place of safety, peace, and prosperity to live.
最後，我們一心祈請上蒼，讓我們所求的願望皆能達成，讓我們的障礙全部都清除。謝謝大家的聆聽，並請大家盡情的享受「市長辦公室」籌劃的園遊會。嗡。嘛呢唄咪。吽。
At the end, we sincerely pray to God:May all our supplications be fulfilled, and May all our hindrance be removed. Thank you for your attention, and enjoy this wonderful Latte Peace Festival planed by Mayor's Office. Om Mani Pame Hum.
